In October the IToV Jedi rebellion team will kick-off the IToV Operations Center and we are looking for you to join!

You will part of the IToV team. A young, bright, enthusiastic team of professionals that has extensive knowledge on maritime and IT. This team is eager to share knowledge, serve our (internal) customers and will guide and train you to become a full IToV Jedi.



  • Provides 1st and 2nd line of support and monitors 2nd and 3rd line for IToV related support to all Fugro vessels;
  • Escalates to 2nd and 3rd line (internal and vendors) and monitors progress;
  • Operate in a 24/7 IT support desk environment;
  • Receives, registers and prioritizes the service requests;
  • Solves technical or functional 1st line incidents;
  • Registers changes and fixes;
  • Trains/supervises new colleagues.



  • Minimum MBO level 4 IT service desk;
  • Previous working experience as a service desk employee would be beneficial;
  • Good IT infrastructure and application configuration knowledge;
  • Customer focused;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Excellent English language skills both written and oral;
  • Team player that sets the example, shares knowledge and has a natural feel to help where needed;
  • Understanding of the maritime IT environment;
  • Accurate and structured way of working;
  • Agile and responsive;
  • Passionate, dedicated;
  • Bold, eager to learn (also from mistakes)
