POSITION

 

The Senior Servicedesk Specialist we are looking for is an experienced professional who will be responsible for handling and solving of IT issues, providing end-user support and other servicedesk tasks.

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Main responsibilities are:

 

- (Remote) endpoint support and ownership. 

 

- Resolve 2nd line requests or assign them to specialists/vendors. 

 

- You will be involved in Windows 10 endpoint provisioning, management, maintenance or troubleshooting and participate in daily system maintenance tasks. 

 

- You will work according to our procedures and work instructions. The team is working Agile with daily standups to share work and information. Knowledge management and ITIL processes are key success factors.

 

- Focal point of contact for vendors on operational issues, problems, requests and updates.  

 

- You will create and maintain all relevant system documentation and instruction guides.

 

- If necessary you may be asked to travel to other Fugro offices (on all continents).

 

- Close cooperation with the infrastructure- and global support team.

 

Main activities are:


- Incident management.

 

- Service request management. 

 

- End-user lifecycle management.

 

- Monitoring.

 

- Pro-active Operations. 

 

- Service recovery.

 

- Continuous improvement. 

 

- System Documentation.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Continuous improvement of the quality of work as well as your own knowledge and skills is high priority on your list and you own these responsibilities.

 

Further requirements are:

 

- Completed Bachelor degree.

 

- Proven Project Management skills. 

 

- ITIL certification.

 

- Recent certification on Windows Desktop software and Microsoft Office.

 

- Up to date MCSE, MCDST or at least MCSA certification.

 

- Experience with most of these systems: Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, O365, SharePoint, Active Directory, SCCM.

 

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a flexible, dynamic business environment.

 

- You are flexible and stress resistant.

 

- Willing to travel to vessels and ports to assist in mobilisations.

 

- Good analytical skills.

 

- Excellent social and communication skills.

 

- Fluent in Dutch, both written and verbally.

 

- Very good knowledge of English both written and verbally.

 

- Knowledge and understanding of company health, security, safety, environmental quality procedures.

 

- Willing to participate in standby support shifts after office hours and in weekends.

 

- Valid driver's license.
